Clear Blue Technologies International Inc. has announced a major partnership with Growth Energy worth about $4 million.
They aim to change how telecom sites in Africa get their energy by replacing expensive diesel generators with eco-friendly solar power.
The deal tackles both economic and environmental issues in the region. As part of this agreement, Growth Energy has selected Clear Blue as its original equipment manufacturer (OEM) partner.
Clear Blue will supply its innovative Esite-Micro power technology and Illumience Smart Power Management Service, which are designed to provide reliable, low-cost solar energy for critical telecommunications infrastructure.
The project will be executed in three phases from 2024 to 2026, with the first phase expected to ship equipment worth approximately $1.1 million CAD in 2024.
Growth Energy specializes in developing and managing renewable energy projects tailored to the unique needs of African industries, including telecommunications.
The company operates across several countries, including Kenya, Nigeria, and Burundi, and aims to eliminate upfront investment barriers for clients through flexible financing models.
This approach allows clients to focus on their core activities while benefiting from sustainable energy solutions.
